Round 12. Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-YAH!

Jango vs. Kermit has been possibly the most exciting duel so far.
The score stayed level in spite of Kermit bending the law (thanks to Lost.in.Idaho) and introducing tag-team-mate Miss Piggy into the fray. Laser blast followed 'HI-YAH!' followed laser blast. And still the score was even.
Check it all in the comments here.

As predicted, things got dirty. (Even if the frog did not 'get in Jango´s suit then onto his mouth and start eating him from inside' as suggested by Venus. He did jump pretty high at times though.)
Jango tried to insure victory by grabbing Piggy's hair, at which point Kermit went for the old classic boot to the jewels and Jango folded like a lemon (yes, like a 'folding lemon'). The muppets then surged ahead at the end, stomping  relentlessly on poor old Jango 'Lemon' Fett. He threw a couple more feeble blows but eventually crumpled up in the dirt.

I get the feeling this is going to stir up some intense rage from the Star Wars fans among you. Bring it!

Gloating much there Kermit?

vs.

Do NOT mess with this cat.

Post your winner, Kermit or Leopard  in the comments.

Best of luck to both.
Our champion will face something beginning with 'M'.

  2. Leopard is so awesome! I will be disappointed if Kermit wins

  3. If it had been a feckless cheetah no but seeing as it's a leopard I'll say leopard and not the the pork and frog leg express.

  4. I'm still voting for kermit. As Miss Piggy showed us yesterday, you fuck with one muppet, you fuck with them all.

Kermit whistles, and here comes the gang. Animal jumps on the leopard's back, and the swedish chef starts preparing a stockpot to "booooil teh loo-pard" in...

The muppets represent an evil, immoral gang of felt that doesn't fight fair. As long as kermit is in the fight, it's going to take a lot to take this posse down.

  5. Lost.in.Idaho, you may be right but that kitty's got claws. We shall see.

Also, can we stop with the f-words and that? The blog isn't family *friendly* as such, but I'd like it to be wide enough scope that the young uns can safely browse.

Don't make me come back there and smack you!

  6. lol the leopard stands no chance at all

  7. And it goes to Kermit again!

  8. Lost.in.Idaho does have a point about Muppet solidarity. I see the battle degenerating into a huge ball of ripped fabric and felt, but ultimately numbers will prevail. Especially when Big Bird enters the mix with those freaky legs of his.

    Kermit.

  9. Even if all the muppets were there, claws would rip through their felt like butter. Plus leopards are known for their stealth. Who says that they could even find the cat to gang up on it?

  10. Kermit beat Jango fett, what hope does a Leopard have... Kermit and Bacon FTW.

  14. I have to vote for kermit (and miss piggy.) Now if it were a Snow Leopard (or a Lion) it may have been a better battle.

  15. Slow enough today. It is Friday (or is it the recent 'no cussin' rule?)

There will be plenty more opportunity to vote on this battle.
I'll be doing a roundup next post. So hold on to your hats and trouser legs and anything else you care to hold on to.

Thanks to all for commenting and contributing. You may find yourselves contributing more and more as time goes on - detail in comments is starting to influence the battles! (I'm looking at you Aaron, Robert and Lost.in.Idaho - possibly Zippy... we shall see.)

    We shall see...

  18. The leopard will manhandle the stupid frog so hard that miss piggy will not even recongize him. Easy victory for the leopard, and a free meal with it.

  19. If we're talking about a sing-off then definitely the muppet. But we're talking about a darwinistic survival of the fittest situation I think the leopard is the clear winner. I'm guessing it's the latter so leopard.

  20. Generally Disgruntled, I'm publishing it anyway because it's effing funny. But that's IT now kids.
No more swearing (except GD and maybe Erika because you're old and bold enough to get away with it. ; ] )

  22. Haha, I'll keep my sailor mouth in check, but only because you threatened violence. That works SO much better than 'please and thank you'.

I know I already voted, but I'd love to see a gang of muppets attack a leopard in real life. Yes, the fluff will fly, But keep in mind there are two hands controlling every muppet. You get 50 fists pummeling on you, and you can only take out so many. The leopard won't be able to keep up with the sheer numbers.

Kermit doesn't fight fair. He should be disqualified. But if you try, you'll get jumped...

  23. Nice one Lost.
Was busy all day writing a music production doc for my clueless friends who want to know about eq and compression but will never use either (hey Nahmy - if you happen to read this. rotfwma ; P ) so I had no time today to buzz around all your blogs or do a new post.
But!... as stated in my comment above, Kermit vs. Leopard will stay open because next post will be a round up.

(and psst... Keep it on the down low Lost.in.Idaho and anyone who reads this, but I decided *secretly* shshshsh! that I would count revotes. Maybe they'd need to be spaced 1 hour+ apart to avoid major abuse of the system and spambots and all the tactics people would undoubtedly use to flood vote (because that would happen, I'm sure).)

  29. The first one to utilize Charlie Sheen is going to win this fight. Why? Tiger Blood > Leopard Blood, and the dude has an army of assassins at his beck and call.

Can a leopard whip out a phone, call the warlock up, and say "Hey mister Winning, get over here"??? Nope. And kermie has an iPhone.

Watch out, kitty. If you're not in Sheen's Korner, you're one of the trolls.

    [x] Kermit

  32. You're forgetting something. Leopards hide in trees. This bad boy will drop down on you when you're least expecting it, and I don't care what kind of numbers you have, a whirlwind of claws with a jumpstart on fluff will win any day!

    LEOPARD!

  33. I'm going to have to go with Kermit, Leopard reminds me of too much of the evil that is Apple Inc.

    ReplyDelete
  34. You know leopards could create a gang too (there still are thousands of them) and tear all the muppets to shreds so brutally it would probably deserve an f-word. And if that's not enough, the old german tank called leopard could come... are there muppet tanks? Unless a proof of their existence is presented, I'll have to go with leopard.

  35. this time I have to say Leopard... sorry kermit, you got no chance
